Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is an American R&B/Soul musician and singer. The singer has received various accolades including an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Day is a powerful musician and artist who is not just a throwback R&B specialist her roots in gospel music and blues she performs with grace and finesse are passed on to the present.
