Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome and was raised with her family. The father of her was Manlio Paoluzzi, who was an Italian officer of the army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. No information is available about having siblings. Luciana attended the local high school, and after graduating in 1955 was a student at the Naval Engineering department of the Scientific Academy of Milan. She was the sole woman in the class. After two years of modeling, she was offered the role of Three Coins in the Fountain. It was her first role. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first husband. The couple got married in the year 1960 and filmed the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles were blessed with a son called Charles 13 June 1961. The couple split up a year after the birth. Luciana then gained custody. Between 1962 and the year 1970 Luciana dated Tony Athony an actor and producer who was inspired by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as his own mix Spaghetti Western for which he gained some recognition.
